Bidra med feedbackWanted to try le melange since the opening and I'm so glad that I finally did! from the second we went to every cure of our meal, my friend and I were still impressed and could not stop talking about incredible everything. the eating was absolutely spectacular and our waitress lisa gave us the best recommendations! she was definitiw a bonus for our incredible dinner and we were very pleased to have them. the half apps were another bonus. I'm glad to go back to dinner so soon!
I was in town visiting from Seattle and was very excited to try this place. We had a late reservation (9:15)
This is my third time at Le Melange, we really like it as the taste is there, but sometimes I think the portions and value are not. 3 out of 4 of us left feeling like the portions are really small. I know I got the NY Strip for the second time and it was really thin, the first time it was a real cut of meat. My wife and daughters got the scallops and they got 3 each. Still, the food is really good, it just is a lot less that most are used to for a higher price.
Ribeye Lamb were excellent. Duck and pastas were meh. Whipped feta was forgettable. Bread was Wegmans quality. Server was great. Noise level was deafening. Desserts were meh. Chef should reconsider focus on basic execution and let go of frills.
This was our first time at Le Melange. The restaurant was busy, but we were greeted right away and seated in just a few minutes. It was well-staffed and our waiter was pleasant and efficient. Started with a Brussels sprout and artichoke salad big enough to share. We liked the lemony dressing. My husband had duck confit and I had limoncello chicken and risotto, both well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed crème brûlée for dessert. The only thing we didn’t like was the “tea-pop” that made a very weak cup of ginger green tea. We’ve already chosen what entrees we plan to try on our next visit.
