Bidra med feedbackAuthentic Jamaican food right here in Syracuse!I Have ate here many times and have NEVER been disappointed so I decided it deserve a review. A lot of restaurants I frequent are hit and miss depending on who’s cooking, but not this one! If the consist high quality food wasn’t enough to keep you coming back, the staff are great too. Regardless of who is working you’ll feel welcomed. Wonderful people with smiling faces and great attitudes, you can really taste the food is made with love. Also, they have Coco Bread and the oxtails are literally cooked to perfection, meat drips off the bone!! Yum ?Parking: Parking lot right next to building. 2 spots are owned by building you can park at for free. Other than that, there is street parking and the parking lot costs $8/a day.
This place got some really good jerk chicken. Good price too.
This place got some really good j chicken. Good price too.
This was our first time in the city so we wanted to be adventurous. We stumbled across Jamaika Flava and decided to try it. Holy cow I am so glad we did! The beef patties were exceptional! The best we have had! I had the curry chicken and it was perfectly mild spice, the gravy and chicken over the rice and peas was a flavor bomb! My fiancee got the j chicken and it fell off the bone it was so tender and flavorful! We recommend this small but great place if you are looking to try something new or if you are a fan of Jamaican food
The flavor was spot on for the many times I've eaten in Jamaica. The restaurant looked a bit run down, but it's all about the food, and while the food was good, the protein portion was way too small for a large curry chicken meal. The red bean rice and cabbage had a smooth favor, and the curry sauce from the chicken was very nice. Back to the chicken, I was given one small wing, and two have small wings. bone in)It made for two bites for 18.00 with a soda. I gave a 2 dollar tip. Should have been at least a 1/2 breast or 2 chicken thighs.
