Service: very poor wine service; poor food service: 1. wine not available; sommelier brought alternative, but said cost €90 instead of 60; asked to see the wine list again; the second wine was €60; she said it was a mistake; when she finally brought the wine, it was different year from the wine list (good wine): so 2 wines from the list were not in stock but not marked, and she apparently did not know the price. They forgot to bring menus when we arrived, slow to bring bread, etc. Odd location on the way from the reception to the stairs and lift.
It is remarkable how easy the front of a restaurant can be the excellent work of the kitchen. the chef who reminded me of sasha baron cohen of les mis, was for some reason the only one who could command. so he used his autority to change eating into eating. I have eaten in some michelin 3 star restaurants. I cannot remember being treated as rude since it is eaten in chicago in the Wiener world, which is part of its schizken. we arrived on time, dressed properly and waited 45 minutes, despite asking 2 to place a wein order. the sommelier is the only one who can take orders for drinking. the food came before the order of the wine. perhaps because of our request to order wein, the funny pompous headkeeper decided to destroy our culinary experience. Anyway, he was incredibly curvy, refused to answer questions, so we decided to use the tasting menu. eating was generally excellent and occasionally exalted. despite this my wife and I wanted us to have eaten somewhere.
To the best meals and culinary experiences of my life. delicious eating, creatiw prepared, beautifully presented and wonderfully served. this restaurant is intended for many stars!
This is a worthy Michelin excellent restaurant in my opinion. We selected the “Mare menu” with 5 courses (120€ per person and a local wine (120€). The food was excellent with the inspiring use of local flavors/products. We had a good weather and dinner was outside. The environment was relaxing, the service was friendly and up to the standards of this level of restaurant.
The food and service were exceptional with fantastic wine recommendations as well. Only shame was to be in mid-May that we had eaten inside. This had an advantage to see the cooks at work, but it is also the hotel lobby...so not the biggest location! Would recommend!
