Upside Brewing - Sylvania

After being loyal customers for many years, my partner and I visited the restaurant on November 18, 2021 wearing our masks. However, the owner, Nick Dallas, informed us that he did not want our business. The restaurant was small and crowded with diners on a Thursday night, with no one wearing masks and no clear acrylic partitions between tables. Despite being vaccinated, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave after hearing an employee mention that they had lost their sense of smell and taste. We were also told that staff were discouraged from wearing masks. Due to these concerns, we will not be returning to this restaurant and will look for other pizza places to dine at in the future.

I have been a customer at this restaurant for 47 years, but on 11/18/21 I decided to take my money elsewhere due to their refusal to enforce mask requirements. The owner stated that they did not want to enforce mask-wearing. The restaurant was crowded with no partitions between tables, and the staff made fun of customers who chose to wear masks.

Charming little restaurant located in the center of Sylvania. They offer a variety of excellent craft beers that rotate regularly, along with a delicious menu featuring pizzas and gyros. Due to limited seating, it's recommended to make a reservation in advance.

Always great local beer! Service was quick and friendly

Great Greek food. The Pizza is like none other. The beer that is brewed on site is also the best.
