Bidra med feedbackI was in Sydney for a business trip and my coach recommended this restaurant to me. I visited and found it to be a charming little place with a small menu. The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food, especially considering the prices. My two meals arrived quickly, but after the appetizer, I sent the main course back, paid the bill, and left. It seems like the chef may have had an off night.
Yet another successful Merivale restaurant. This long-term pop-up offers Asian-inspired dishes and an impressive wine selection (don't miss the jamsheed harem and the la violetta shiraz). The menu features unique items like the Lotus cheeseburger and the hot fudge sundae. The service is impeccable and there is a hidden bar in the back. Mains for sharing typically range from $25 to $30. Opt to dine outside for a vibe reminiscent of London's Soho district.
Service very good until it got busy then we could not get our coffee. We asked that it arrive with the desserts but had long finished desserts and then had to signal for coffee. We were told "sorry but we suddenly got busy" Coffee arrived and it was cold cold, not even mildly warm. Food was fresh and good quality - portions small and price quiet high for what you get. Could not fault the quality or flavour, excellent.
My 4th visit now - The Fish Shop a number one treat for me. I love the welcome, the ambiance and of course the FISH From fish in Coff's Harbour to the best fish in Sydney - yeah!
Another great Merivale experience for a very enjoyable dinner with my parents. Cuttlefish entree, grilled snapper and flat head for mains.
