The Civic Hotel - Sydney

This is the Sydney Masonic Centre, no matter what you call it.

Food and drinks were yummy as usual. Peppercorn is a good restaurant. Their food, drinks and service never disappoints. The fish we had might be too much for my family. Kids just like rice. But I often come with my girlfriends to dine. We had...a baby and the long 3 flight of stairs was inconvenient.

Dinner at Peppercorn at Civic never fails to impress, the food is fresh, delicious and a cut above your local Thai/Lao restaurant. The cocktail menu and wine list is an added bonus. This visit was for our teams Christmas celebration, and it was a feast...of flavours. I’m a regular but it was the first time there for my 5 colleagues. Everyone was impressed and will be back!!

Situated above a pub in the centre of Sydney. Very central position. Large modern restaurant that seems very popular. Staff friendly and helpful. Great menu with a large variety of choices at reasonable prices. Decent alcohol menu also including cocktails. Food service reasonable time frame,...and the food was delicious, they were also happy to spilt bill.

I dined with a group for lunch recently. I was unaware of its presence upstairs in The Civic Hotel. I could not fault the food which was flavoursome and generous. Combined with very good service it is a winner. Highly recommended.
