Taste on Sussex Lane - Sydney

Really good for a quick bite to eat if you are visiting the Chinese Gardens. Good priced baguettes are very tasty and filling - lemongrass steak particularly good!

Had a great breakfast with really friendly service. Free wifi is handy too. Coffee is good quality and hot.

What a great spot for a business lunch ... Amanda Keller was there too!Always a fine choice of daily specials and the sweet potato soup with chorizo and a garlic cheese bread on the side was amazing. There was a well balanced chilli kick to it. I could have eaten another, it was that good. And I now wish I had the creme brulee dessert, but it was lunch after all.Good place to have private business lunch, with a couple of outside balconies which provide a great escape from our air conditioned offices.

Located in Sussex Lane (between the Westpac building and Erskine St), Taste is popular for business meetings. There's a good sized indoor seating area, and small veranda area. Takeaway and sit-in available. Breakfast is pretty average. It's ok for a coffee. Service is usually on the slower side.

Great place for a business lunch as it is quite private. I always have the peri peri chicken baguette & fries which are delicious.
