Bidra med feedbackLocated on Elizabeth Street close by to Museum Station, this cafe was pretty busy when the sign offering breakfast specials piqued my interest as my stomach was grumbling and I hadn’t being caffeinated yet. Offering indoor and outdoor seating it seemed like your standard cafe. <br/ <br/ I stepped inside and ordered the Breakfast Wrap special with a large Mocha to takeaway. The friendly man served me and told me it wouldn’t be too long. He made my Mocha and it was pretty nice. My Bacon Egg Breakfast Wrap was tasty and came with BBQ sauce. It hit the spot.
One of the things I enjoy about travelling (or even if it simply involves catching the train into the city) is that you get the opportunity to try out
Located on Elizabeth Street, opposite Hyde park, it's a strange mix of café and restaurant.
Great little place to relax with super friendly staff. The wraps were delicious and toasty, definitely worth the visit!
Ordered a big breakfast, as thats my usual go-to when I'm trying somewhere new. Ordered a pot of earl grey with it also. The pot of tea came quickly, and it was loose leaf which was nice, but for the size of the pot, they could have put in probably another spoon more of leaf. Reasonable amount of milk to tea in a small milk jug though. The breakfast was very slow to come in minutes), which for two pieces of very dry toast (could have had twice as much butter on it too with no issue), and while reasonably cooked bacon rasher), sausage cut into pieces), eggs (I asked for scrambled, which was nicely done, looks like eggs worth), and one full tomato cut in half, grilled to starting to get soft, not mushy. At the end of the day, the breakfast tasted fine, just very plain. Staff was friendly and quick to respond, so that was nice, but even though the big breakfast was (about cheaper than other places generally), it wasn't what I would have labelled big'.TL;DR straight fare, friendly service, little slow on timing.
