We were a little contaminated when the waitress told us there was no sushi and they were all out of the entrè that we wanted, but we saw that they hadn't even their opening night, so that we had a crush on them. eating. we got tasty and in contrast to everything I ever had. Our party of 5 had a Shisha plate; cooked salmon, bark and another. the food was delicious and the service was efficient. they only have Japanese beer!
I had the salmon steak lunch set and really enjoyed it. I also tried the vegetarian bento with vegetarian dressing, which I found to be better than the vegetable udon.
There is always a line outside the restaurant after 6:30pm on weekends. This gave me the impression that even if the food is not the best, it must be the best value for money. Surprisingly, it arguably provides the best sashimi and widest range of food selections at a very reasonable price. The entrée includes not only sashimi and salad but also edamame and agadashi. My personal favorite is the wakame salad, which includes tofu, two types of seaweed, and salad with sesame soy sauce dressing. The main dishes range from grilled Wagyu beef, grilled whole fish, bibimbap, to main dish sized sashimi. As a fan of their fresh sashimi, this is a must-order dish for me every time I visit. The main dish includes eight different types of seafood (including oyster, tuna, kingfish, salmon, clam, scampi, scallop, snapper), totaling over 30 pieces for less than $40. At the same price and quality, other Japanese restaurants would only give you two-thirds of what Musashi does. If you don't like sashimi, the grilled Wagyu beef and Okonomiyaki (Japanese style pancake) are also highly recommended. The juice from the lightly grilled Wagyu beef on top of mashed potato turns the mash into a divine cuisine. Recently, they changed the Okonomiyaki to one choice with prawn, beef, and chicken all added as ingredients for only $12.90. Desserts are less than $5 per serving, but do not underestimate the taste and serving size. My recommendation would be Zensai as this is one of the few Japanese restaurants in town that offers this dessert. The tasty rice ball mixed with thinly sliced fresh strawberries and red bean paste is chewy and delicious. In addition to food, they have a good selection of mocktails, cocktails, and wine to choose from. The downside is the high level of noise as it is always crowded. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, you may need to look elsewhere. They only accept bookings at 6:30pm or 6pm. You may have to queue up when the restaurant is full, and the waiting time could be up to 30 minutes if you have a large group (more than 8 people). The ticketing system and free green tea help calm people who are anxiously waiting for a table. I am looking forward to my next visit to Musashi.
