Bidra med feedbackThe place feels like an industrial size operation. the problem is, no one seems to oversee that the wheels are turning well. the service is not only impersonal, but also chaotic. it took 15 minutes to get a crippled water I ordered. first and was desperate; I ended up with the call Staff button to get it. my takoyaki came to the lukewarm, suggesting that they have to sit on the kitchen counter, wait for 5 10 minutes until they are delivered to the table. most other dishes were faster, but the beginning of the meal was certainly disappointing. the choice of the love was not particularly great, which seems strange for a place where many people have to come for a good drink and a meal. also, despite the web site advertising opening times up to 2 o'clock, it turned out that the kitchen closed at 8:30 o'clock as well as I decided to come a little early; not count on a late dinner at this place. gyoza and sashimi were good; but overall, a mixed experience.
I visited lanterns of wagaya for tasty Japanese cuisine that they can order comfortably from the screen, especially Japanese hot pots. when the suntower is laid in george street, I take my friends here after eating to karaoke. the service is efficient and professional. the karaoke room is neat. reasonable prices. the payment can be made at the end of the karaoke session. the only farewell is the smelling toilet, not something I expect from a Japanese place.
The beautiful environment of lanterns of wagaya feels very authentic with the intimate traditional seat and head-lion decorations. it offers a great lunch deal with free karaoke with spending over $20 and the stands are great. it has surprisingly a large menu. many different possibilities for lunch and dinner. Dishes sampled salmon cream cheee roll a must try, articles when they sushi and stop by lantern by wagaya. the cream cheese is so tasty and smiling next to the sea red salmon. it's definitely one of the best salmon sushi roles I've ever tried. takoyaki, tempura dumplings the takoyaki and tempura were good, but not great. they tasted like quite standard sushi train dishes found in their typical casual Japanese restaurants. the dumplings tasted in any case homemade, fresh and was very hearty. the strawberry mojito the taste of the alcohol is stronger than expected in this mojito, but I can really see how it is a special beverage concoction of lantern of wagaya. it's one of the better mojitos I've tried, and a hidden gem I didn't expect to be impressed by after eating here. instagram: @sydneyfoodreviewer
We were several times in this restaurant (we loved wagaya below close to the entertainment center,) so that we were happy to get this from the world square. it can get noisy as it is also a place for karaoke, but if they understand that eating is great l, good value and service fast and efficient. my Fussy daughter really loves the simple order screens. there are several online options to book, but even though they receive a reservation confirmation, it doesn't seem to mean anything, the only time that we went successfully when it is last minute and we're calling directly and they happen to have a table. I have no confidence in their booking system anymore, which is really sad because it is loud, but great eating. good luck that they enjoy it when they can get in.
Only $9.90 for a Japanese Bento lunch serving. Also had sashimi bowl comes with miso soup. This joint also has small karaoke rooms too. Walk to the left to find lifts to level 2.
