If they stay in the hotel and don't want the room service, they could come here. eating is top-regal price, but very average. I ordered a scotch filet steak for $47 and really it was a small safeway quality steak that saw how it was fried in a diner. the gravure was equally serious and that was it on the plate. my wife had chicken with filling and it was 3 small glands tasting medaillons. quite exactly the necessary in the hotel. if it is not a business trip and the work paid for it.
Booked a table for 7:15 clock for four of us for valentine night I noticed some other reviews over long waiting times, but accepted. it would have set right now....big mistake. when we arrived, the restaurant looked amazing and they really had. a great work that it set up for Valentine's Day evening, including a quartet playing some beautiful music, tables were also dressed tastefully, so it was nicely furnished for a great night. it took a little long to bring us to our sitting and then take our commands, but nothing too bad and the friendliness of the waiting staff made it. After we had given our order, the dinge started to be a little strange, we noticed that the others were waiting around us also. Not because there was a lack of table service only that did not arrive! we asked several times and were sure that everything was in order. after 1 hour the starter came only one of the two we ordered, it was nice. we asked about the dozens of oysters we had also ordered long wait again.. waitress came slightly embarrassing back to explain that they had run out! Why it took an hour to realize that you could only guess! the poor wait staff quickly apologised and offered us four glasses free champagne, which was very pleasant and the hunger held back a little longer! our main course finally arrived at 9:45 a.m. as we had set ourselves at 7:15 a.m.! eating was great, no complaining. we got the bill only after 10 o'clock and to supplement injuries, they had the dozen oysters that they had run out! No matter, the bill was quickly corrected and we paid and left. I find it unbelievable that this was incapable of basic restaurant management, something must be serious wrong here. I would recommend you to stay away until this restaurant recognizes its mistakes and assures that it has addressed the causal of the root and they can now come and enjoy a great meal. we were very patient, but the table next to us obviously left very unhappy and the other table next to us the half of the table remained very annoyed after not getting their ordered meal. sincerely hope that the problems will be solved and this restaurant can truly be called fine eating. in the meantime they stay away!
It didn't really cost. twice during my stay it was closed for a private function. they sent us steps down to the lobby restaurant we found better
My wife and I tried to avoid going back to Garden Court because of our bad dinner experience in June 2018. Since we were at Sofitel Wentworth, we decided to try out the breakfast on offer at Garden Court. And we are glad we did....Entirely the opposite of our experience when we had dinner there. The breakfast staff were really nice, attentive, pleasing, courteous, and friendly. It was a very busy late morning and the staff still did a good service. The breakfast food is extensive. The best I like are the freshly squeezed concoction of vegetable and fruit juices. Will definitely come back for a breakfast at Garden Court.
