Babylon - Sydney

Very expensive menu. we had young teenagers with us and it was very difficult to find everything suitable for them to eat. very loud atmosphere with a DJ playing noise, that is certainly not what we wanted in a restaurant, they seem on the young 20s after the work lots of suits in. eating was good when we got it, but the prices were extremely high. we will not return.

Nice eating, good variety in offer and service was top class. loved the mood in the restaurant and on the dachbar

No one approached us when we arrived to help to find the table. Then we were seated for half an hr before we had to ask to order a drink. No one explained the menu or had any interaction. It was very strange not to have friendly waitstaff.

Great food and service. Variety and taste, great for something different

Beautiful venue and the food itself was lovely, but unfortunately the service was average. The staff were nice enough, but we had the food come out slowly and one of our sides was completely forgotten. We had a small party of 3, ordered some entrees, a large protein to share and three sides one of which never came out. Then at dessert time, they forgot the coffee so we had to ask for it. It came out when we had finished the desserts. We ordered two desserts and one coffee, I was left to drink it while my dinner companions waited. Not the end of the world. But for a $100 a head meal, I’d at least like the dishes to come out together. The venue is huge, it was busy, but not full and there were a lot of staff on. A family member was there two weeks ago and had a great time, I guess we were just unlucky.
