Really crispy tonkatsu. The pork used is very fresh. Good service. Very nice and pleasurable experience. Best tonkatsu in Australia in my opinion.
The store is almost full when you arrive at 6 o 'clock. You need to fill in the information on the list at the door to get the number. The waiting time for one person is short. I ordered the eel bento. The ingredients are rich, the taste is great, the combination is good, and it 's worth the price.
Tonkatsu set $18.80). For a person who love katsu, this dish is the representation of a good katsu; you didn’t even need a sauce to eat this dish because this dish is that damn good and that’s all I have to say. 9/10)<br/ <br/ Miso katsu set $18.80). If you’re bored with a simple katsu dish, maybe you should try this one. Miso is made from soybeans, sea salt and koji – so, there’s a combination of tangy, salty and creaminess from that sauce that adds a unique burst of flavor to the katsu dish. 8/10)<br/ <br/ Salmon sashimi $8.80) . Just a simple and good pieces of salmon. Nothing special! 7/10)<br/ <br/ Snowy mountain $5) If you know a Japanese drink called calpis, this is literally the combination of calpis and vanilla ice cream in a balance proportion. 8/10)
My absolute go to Japanese restaurant in Sydney. If you enjoy Japanese bento at a decent price, with great quality food and quality service , this is a place you go. I've bring so many friends to this place and never once we walked out of here feeling disappointed. The tonkatsu pork loin set was bomb, the salmon set with tonkatsu is also one of my top choice. The bento is really filling with variety of side dish. The service is efficient and quick, Japanese people always have that warm and friendly vibe about them. Would absolutely recommend everyone to give this place a try while you're in CBD area.
