Bidra med feedbackI did not try to expect much as cheese and other traditional Italian ingredients could be hard to replace, but I felt a bit disappointed. One of my favorite dishes, the zucchini flowers, tasted absolutely blande. I really wanted to try the homemade salami, basically the only thing my attention on the menu other than the zucchini flowers, but they were out. The pasta tasted fine, but it really wasn't worth making it homemade and paying us that extra price because it tasted business bought all... The potatoes in garlic butter tasted the best just to give you a feeling how much I (not) love this place. I would give him 2 stars, but my partner liked it, so I decided to expel an additional star. Happy to see a vegan place crowded, so most like the food, or perhaps the drinks. Updated by previous rating on 2023-03-09
Beautiful vibes, on the expensive side and portions are on the small side, but delicious dishes. Lemon Pasta was nice.
Everything was good, but not amazing. Nothing bleededed me, unfortunately we had the Arancini, two pastas and the Tiramisu. Prices are expensive for serving size.
Bootleg has set some of the best vegan food in Sydney and in a very cool, intimate space. Some of our favorites are the garlic dough balls and salami for entree, carbonara and vodka rigatoni for the main, and Tiramisu for dessert. The owner Sam is super friendly and it is clear how passionate he is to make so high-quality, delicious vegan food. One of our favorite places to eat!
The food was good but the portions are small! i got the rigatoni vodka here. they don’t have wait staff, you just order through the app at your table which i find kind of impersonal and harder to get refills/ask questions. also for some reason the mens bathroom didn’t have a door lol. also, the menu has broccolini on it but they don’t actually have it so don’t order it. overall, i probably wouldn’t go back but i’m glad i tried it.
