The Saracens Head - Swindon

The menu at this restaurant is both nice and affordable. The food is delicious and the staff are very efficient, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is great and you have the option to dine inside, under a canopy, or in a small, traffic-free garden. There is a good selection of beer on tap. Overall, everything is excellent and there is nothing to complain about.

We drove through highworth on the way to home from vacation and looked for a place to lunch and stumbled over this big pub. the staff was very friendly and helpful. really beautiful old school decor inside and had a beautiful covered terrace and a really...nice beer garden. eating was good and cheap. the service was fast. would recommend to anyone staying in the opposite or going through.

I have visited the restaurant at the Saracens Hotel three times since April 12th, and I have nothing but praise. The service by the manager and his staff is excellent, they are friendly, attentive, and always smiling. They strictly adhere to Covid guidelines, making you feel completely safe. But most importantly, the quality and value of the food is outstanding. From amazing first-class meals at reasonable prices, to delicious plowers lunch, homemade tasty burgers, and excellent baguettes, I cannot fault anything. I will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I dined at the Saracens Head on a Monday night. We were visiting the area and were unfamiliar with the pub. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and everything was reasonably priced. Despite the chilly and damp weather, the pub was cozy, tidy, and inviting. We had a very enjoyable evening overall.

We ate here for lunch while having our dog groomed, which we often do. In these difficult times their C-19 precautions are hot very good and all staff had face protectors. We felt really safe. The food was absolutely awsome, so much food we could...not eat everything and it came out piping hot which is important to me. The pie of the day my partner loved and my house burger was excellent, nice and spicy. The only thing I'd say about my burger is that it didn't need all the chopped salad... Just sliced tomatoes, onion and lettuce would have done it. Will we be going back... Absolutely lutely. Great value for money
