Bidra med feedbackWe had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment. The restaurant was fully booked so we sat in the bar area, which worked perfectly for us. Although we had to order from the bar, we didn't mind at all. Andy, our server, was very friendly and helpful despite being busy with drink orders constantly coming in. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.
Th food and service were really good, Gemma's friendly service and the excellent food made for a wonderful meal out.
We went to this restaurant for lunch and had to set up our own table with cutlery and napkins. The menu was limited and did not offer steak or pork belly. The dessert arrived first, and when we asked why, we were told it was the main course. The drinks machine was not working, and the mains were delivered late, with some people finished eating before others got their food. The food was lukewarm and we decided not to have dessert. There was a £45 error in the bill, and the staff only paid attention when we disputed it. Overall, the restaurant lacked service, had a limited menu, and disorganized staff. We will not be returning.
What is happening with this Harvester recently? We used to come here regularly as we live just across the road, but the quality has declined so much that we stopped coming for a while. We decided to give it another chance, but it was a disappointment. We had to wait a long time at the door before a scruffy-looking guy, who I assume was the manager, with a miserable expression eventually came to seat us. There were no refill drinks available due to a gas leak, and when we looked at the menu, we were told that there was no rotisserie chicken available, eliminating half of the options. We asked if we could substitute the rotisserie chicken in our meal combo for chicken breast, but we were told no. This seemed unfair considering it was not our fault that they had run out of rotisserie chicken. We settled for burgers, even though it was not what we wanted. Our disappointment continued as the salad bar was almost empty and messy, with food on the floor and looking dirty. When we asked for white rolls, the guy promptly got more, but they were frozen solid when we tried to eat them. We ate our burgers and left, skipping dessert. This particular Harvester needs improvement in terms of staffing, cleanliness, and menu availability. We will be avoiding this restaurant for a while in hopes that it will be better when we return.
Long wait for service only 1 person taking orders and serving the meals.no jacket potatoes. Steak was nice but cold, burger bland, took 20 mins to get a drink and 30-40 for food, place was fairly quiet so no excuse. Gave up trying to order another drink as no staff to be seen.
