Broad Table Tavern - SWARTHMORE

It is a cool place and the food is excellent. Can be a little expensive with apps and drinks, but you get sure what you pay.

Just recommend to a local friend for convenience. We'd give up on the place if we don't live near the foot. They're only working in service. We had to send several people looking for a glass of wine for our first glass and our second. If you arrive there on a Friday night after work, you would like to order a drink and be served quickly.

The service was lacking at this restaurant. It seemed like they were understaffed and struggling. After finishing our meal and clearing our plates, we waited for 30 minutes before seeing our server again. She was nowhere to be found until we finally asked a busboy about our bill. At that point, she returned and offered us a dessert as an apology for the wait, but by then we were already frustrated from waiting for so long.

The food and service were excellent. The Broccoli appetizer is amazing and the Monday's special (chicken and biscuits) was delicious. It was a very pleasant evening.

The food at this restaurant is delicious with big portions that are very filling. The prices are reasonable and you can enjoy a leisurely dining experience.
