Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant offers a fantastic value for breakfast, possibly one of the best in Swansea. The staff is friendly and the environment is pleasant. They are open every morning at 9am, except for Mondays during non-holiday times.
I was looking for a dog-friendly restaurant that would be welcoming to my furry friend, but unfortunately this turned out to be one of the few restaurants in the Mumbles area that does not allow dogs. It seems that most other nearby restaurants are happy to accommodate dog owners.
My meal arrived first and I was surprised to find the baked beans poured all over the chips, making them soggy. My partner's food arrived after a 5-minute wait, and he had to go up and request the extra mushrooms he had paid for. We were not provided with any sauces, and I had to ask for napkins which the young girl had to search for. At this point, my partner expressed that he would not be returning to this restaurant. However, after enjoying his bacon and mushrooms, he said he may give it another try. I agreed. The bacon was delicious and cooked to our liking. The service was lacking, and we were not asked if everything was alright. Additionally, we felt the prices were too high for what we received.
This place has the best breakfast about, they need to work out times.....a friday being told 45 minutes for a breakfast....they should say only a few at a certain time!! Some people cant eat because of the time your to wait.
Nice brekkie, but sausages could be better and the eggs are minuscule. Staff on duty didn't seem to understand what a proper macchiato is although their second attempt looked slightly better but still was just a milky coffee with a bit of froth on top, my Dutch friend didn't want to make a fuss again so begrudgingly accepted it. It was a very busy Monday and staff were overwhelmed, it seemed. As a result one meal for our table was missed and we had to ask for it. The waitress was good though and brought it fairly promptly after we pointed it out to her.
