Hanna Lesung Batu - Swan Hill

This restaurant may not look like much, but the food is truly excellent. We enjoyed a delicious beef curry, a fantastic Malaysian style stir-fried noodles, mixed vegetables, murtabak, and rice for only $42. We can't wait to come back for lunch tomorrow!

Having travelled to Malaysia a bit this place was as authentic as you get.Reminded me of a typical family business where locals eat and hang out. We received a really warm welcome and the food, service and pricing were all great. The chicken rendang was a stand out. This place reminded us of the Laska King in Kensington Melbourne before the masses discovered it and lost its charm. Will definitely visit again next time in Swan Hill

The food at this restaurant is acceptable. I had a hard time choosing from the menu, which was repeated often and had several spelling errors. Unfortunately, many of the items I wanted were not available today. I ended up picking something random that was available. The food was okay, and the water served was at room temperature with no ice available. There were no diet drinks or alcohol on the menu. The restaurant seemed to be run by a young, inexperienced staff, with several young men playing computer games and speaking in Malay. The owners had their baby in a pram and other family members were lounging around the front of the house. The restaurant was very basic, with just garden chairs and tables. Despite the good food, there is a need for urgent improvement in terms of service and presentation.

This restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. The food was some of the best I have had in Swan Hill. My lunch companion initially offered to share his dish with me, but ended up eating it all because it was so delicious. The juices, like the apple juice I had, are also freshly made. It seems like their goal is to provide a fresh dining experience for their customers. The decor is simple, comfortable, and clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. The wait for our food was about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. I highly recommend trying the cook's amazing biscuits, which you can purchase to take home. The menu is affordably priced, and I was very impressed overall. I wish the restaurant continued success.
