Old Steamer - Swakopmund

Had an absolutely great experience. We went there as a group and all were satisfied with their dishes and with the great atmosphere. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the ambience is brilliant. The staff is very well trained, very attentive and very friendly. The food is very tasteful and delicious the cook definitely knows what he does. The entire customer service is wonderful. Will definitely return to Old Steamer!

While on holiday we try to vary our restaurants to get the "feeling" of a city and its people. We went to Old Steamers two nights ago. Stunning. Just the previous reviews. We had an extraordinary experience. Problem is, after that everything else seems so mediocre, including the highly rated but very so experience we had tonight. Tomorrow night is our last night in Swakopmund. We have re-booked at Old Steamers to go with a good memory. We won't be disappointed.

We visited Old Steamer Restaurant during a road trip through Namibia and stay over in Swakopmund. It is located on the grounds of the Old Bridge Resort, where we camped for 2 evenings. The dinner consists of everything you can eat buffet, while drinks are extra. The decor is very authentic, and the food of very good quality. We had a very good time, the staff was also very friendly.
