Captain D's - sville

A lot has changed over the last few years. The battered fish is now like a battered fish stick. We tried the spicy battered combo and the fish n shrimp combo. We weren't overly impressed. The slaw seemed to be on its way to the trash. It was not as fresh as it once was. Thanks, Captain D's for many years of being a great seafood restaurant. The time has come to move on.

My baked potato was rotten, the catfish tasted ruined, coleslaw like it cameOut of Walmart containers and hush puppies sucked. The restaurant itself has a horrible odor. They need to put a door up leading to the restrooms right off the dining room. This is the worst meal I have ever eaten out!!!! Now I know why I never come here. Clearly, a waste of money. It was so bad it ruined my appetite. I took two bites of each and I had to stop and throw my plate away. Totally disgusting!!!!?

Food was great, hot and fresh!Kiera took our order and she was so nice and professional. Such a breath of fresh air. Manager checked on us and was very helpful. Dining room was clean and tidy. We'll be back.

I don't think the food made me sick, but it took a long time to get a Togo order. Wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls in the dining room and I had to go back to get a forgotten item from my order. There is a Long John Silvers literally a block away I wished I had gone to instead.

Exactly what I expected and wanted. Good service good food got a reasonable price.
