Poley Mountain - Sussex

The ice coffee at this restaurant is fantastic, but the ice lemonade could be less sour. The dollar drinks are amazing and should be available all year round.

I have eaten a lot of chili at many ski resorts, and the chili at the Slope Side Bar and Grill is one of the best. Served at lunch with nacho chips or garlic bread and topped with shredded cheese, it is a hearty meal that gives you the energy to ski all day.

For a place that burnt down, and that's relocated provisionally in temporary office trailers, they provide a satisfying lunch. Good service, good value.We're talking fast food here. I'm not saying I'd drive to Sussex, then down a bumpy 15 minute dirt road just to re-experience those chicken fingers and chili bowl. But between my lunch and my wife's (grated cheddar poutine and cheeseburger), I felt I'd had experienced unfrozen food at it's finest. Or maybe I was just really hungry,

This McDonald's is exactly how it should be.
