Hungry Jack's - Surry Hills

Food is always hot from this Hungry Jacks location however on most visits to this location the tables, floors and general store is dirty. This includes bins overflowing.

One would expect a below average review for a Hungry Jacks in busy grubby Oxford Street. Quite the contrary. Late in the evening at 1am when a security guard needs to be on the premises he was really pleasant) I ordered a meal in what was a very busy night taken by helpful staff. As I had not had dinner I ordered a Veggie Burger and Chips. Perfect for what they say good fast food, crisp chips and a nice burger. I have eaten here years ago and it has always been the same. And yes it was late and No I hadn't had that much to drink although the poor staff had a lot of very difficult customers to serve mostly who were a bit intoxicated.

Small place, fairly good location, everything on the menu you would expect from a Hungry Jacks (Burger King! UK traveler!!

A sad decision on Mardi Gras nyt 2017. Oxford St 'Hungry Jacks ' open all nyt the toilets weren 't closed 'for maintenance ' they were closed all nyt. if need be issue toilet passes for customers to stop others. a disappointing discovery when we climbed the stairs after our meal. at least put the 'toilets closed for maintenance ' sign downstairs next time. No coffees! soft drink is not a substitute for coffee. you took our money and were full all nyt! you raked in a motza. I know many others had the same experience that nyt. ps. if you have an explanation about the lack of coffee pls reply here. when i asked 'why ' at the counter the server just repeated we aren 't serving coffee . the manager then came over and said the same. why?

Decent hungry jacks. Dont forget that at all hungry jacks you can get additional vegetables on your burger for normally no extra cost. So adding items such as angry onions or extract lettuce tomato to a cheese burger.
