Boka nu

Bidra med feedbackIt's a great restaurant to recommend. The food there is nice and the service is warm and friendly. My friends and I love all the dishes there and the tons of their bubble tea.
Good food, lack of servers on a weekend. Clean ingredients, balanced meal set. Korean wings were definitely great. Chicken is lacking flavor but kimchi bbq pork was great. Will be back out get take out!!!
Their hotpots taste amazing, for a reasonable price too! Even as take-out, the food there is still pretty tasty. I am not a huge fan of their bubble tea, but I do highly recommend the Kimchi Tofun Pot! :
It’s pretty bad. Flavour-wise, soups were fine. But they had nothing in them. I had the seafood hotpot, it had two VEINED shrimp, one mussel, udon, a quarter of a bokchoy, and some meat. All of that for $16, which is abysmal. The taiyaki is just two pieces of frozen puff pastry sandwiched together. Overall, its pretty bad value for the price.
I messaged Tofun Pot on Google Chat to inquire about their vegetarian dish and see if it can be made to fit my dietary restrictions (no onion and garlic). They responded within 45 minutes and ensured me it can be made without. A few days later, my friend and I went for brunch. We ordered their Vegetarian Tofu Pot (one mild and one medium spice). We asked for both to be made without onion and garlic. The waitress confirmed that there weren 't any in that dish. The dish tasted great. The portion size was big, and the price was slightly more expensive than other bubble tea Asian restaurants I 've been to. There was no service at all other than taking the order and bringing us the food. I felt quite full and bloated halfway through my meal, so I had to pack up the remainder of my meal. I skipped dinner as the unsettling feeling lasted all evening. I didn 't think too much of it until I had the leftovers the next day and felt sick again. My friend does not have the same sensitivity as I do, so I asked her what she thought about the dish. She said it did taste a bit garlicy. That 's when I realized it may have been the hot sauce. I reached out to Tofun Pot again on Google Chat to inquire about it that evening. Most restaurants that I 've been to would go the extra mile and check their sauces, soup base, curry base, etc. for me, but I understand sauces could be an oversight. I should have also inquired about it myself beforehand. Hence, the purpose of reaching out to them was for clarification, so I can order the dish without spice next time. Unfortunately, I was left on 'read ' twice. I waited a whole week before reaching out to them again today for a 3rd time. It 's unfortunate it took them 8 days to respond. They responded and said their spicy powder does not contain onion and garlic. Overall, if you 're in South Surrey, craving for some Asian Food, and don 't have any sensitivities or allergies, you can give give Tofun Pot a try. I am giving them 1 star because of the lack of communication I had after eating at the restaurant. Leaving me on read just rubbed me the wrong way especially when they were so quick to respond the first time. I felt like they weren 't being transparent and honest hence, ghosting me twice. I 'm uncertain if there was cross contamination of some sort as it was the only meal I ate that day (felt disgustingly bloated all evening) and felt sick again when I had the leftovers the following day. Regardless, their customer service is lacking and not to my expectations. I hope there will be an improvement.
