PITA PIT - Surrey

I absolutely adore the staff at this restaurant, they are perfect. They also have excellent vegetarian options, and I especially love the falafel.

This place has gone very downhill since last visit a while ago. First thing I asked to be put on pita was Romaine lettuce, the worker told me it had gone bad and it had to be thrown out (extreme red flag). I said how about iceberg lettuce it’s very common she said “there was no fresh iceberg lettuce or romaine lettuce available at all”. Other back dated soggy veggies were available to be put inside pita wrap, chicken seemed decent though. Overall a very bad experience and I certainly won’t be coming back. Management should definitely take note on these issues.

Pretty bad when you are walking into a food service establishment and the store is actually warmer than outside on one of the warmest days of the year so far in Delta, BC. We got the whole story about the AC not working and after reading the previous reviews here and the owner's responses, I wonder if this has to go to Health Canada or the CFIA. Looking at the food and judging by the high temps inside the store, we decided to leave. I feel for the staff. I know there is not really any legislation in Canada yet for working in high temperatures but maybe this is another proof that there should be!

This place is pretty terrible - the extreme heat is unbearable. They always respond to reviews by saying they are fixing it, but they had the same problem last year too. I wonder if it takes a whole year for repairs. I stopped going after last year, but decided to give it another chance today because their staff is always friendly. Unfortunately, I encountered the same issue again.

The two lady staff were very patient and polite. Thank you very much!
