Bidra med feedbackI opted for the meal deal which includes the cream chicken, a small salad in a Styrofoam box, a garlic naan, and a can of soda for $12. It seemed like a good deal for a satisfying meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the creamed chicken – it was not greasy and had a unique blend of spices, similar to chicken Alfredo sauce or curried cream of chicken soup. The sauce had depth, with hints of black pepper and curry spices, offering more than just one flavor profile. The chicken pieces were large and tender, with minimal fat and gristle. The naan was a bit plain and the salad could have used some more finely chopped veggies as they were in large chunks. Despite this, the meal felt healthy and fresh. It's clear why Chawla's is a successful franchise in the Indian subcontinent – their flavorful dishes and affordable prices make for a satisfying dining experience.
The restaurant is excellent. The butter chicken may not taste the same as in India, but it has a unique flavor in Surrey which is good. I also tried the paneer lababdaar, and it was fantastic. The food is prepared by talented chefs.
I absolutely loved it! The best food I've ever had in Canada. The Cream Chicken is a must-try. I loved it!
