Lucky Horse Restaurant - Surrey

We’ve lived near this place for years, and just tonight ordered takeout for the first time. PRO- the food all tasted very fresh, and not at all greasy. Also, it was a quiet night and we got our food in 25 minutes!CON- not a crazy amount of flavour. I’m not one to add salt to my food, but I found I had to. The sweet sour pork was a tad over cooked, which made it a little tough. Also, there was a big nasty chunk of octopus in the war wonton soup. We’ll eat here again for sure!

This place never disppoints when I go there. The food is always fresh and I never have a problem. I went their recently and normally only order take out but decided this time to eat in and it was delicious. My party ordered deep friend wontons, chicken fried rice and the vegetarian combo. It was all astoundingly fresh, not greasy or over seasoned and it was honestly the best chinese food I have had in a long time. Service was really friendly and quick and even though we were seated in the back of the restaurant we were not ignored.

I ordered there for the second time. First time was great. Second time was awesome. Ordered boneless dry ribs, Szechuan chicken, Singapore noodles, deep fried prawns, and wonton soup, and almond chicken..all was delicious!! Delivery was about 1.5 hrs tho but was worth the wait. Every other place doesn't deliver on sundays till 4 or 5....so it was nice to have hang over Chinese : <br/

Decent Chinese food in the Newton area. Nothing special, great for late night chinese. I do love their chicken wing appetizer though. Best thing I've ordered from their menu.

The lucky horse is a nice place to go and relax and enjoy wonderful amazing food
