Bidra med feedbackThe Korean food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the location is very convenient. The decor is quirky and fun!
Was here a while back with mom and sister, after getting lost trying to find another Korea restaurant. We walked into Dasom to be put off by the weird decor, but still decided to give it a try. The lady was friendly and helpful when...we were deciding what to order and the restaurant was very clean, even the bathroom. We ordered two bibimbap and chicken bulgogi, and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the food looked upon being served. The taste was fantastic and was beyond my expectations! It was all fresh, not too salty, and had a lot of vegetables.
It took more than minutes just for them to give us the menu. they gave us no water nor tea nor ask if what did we want to drink. the food wasn't any good. vegetables were a few days old yet the ingredients they...used seemed like canned goods.the texture of the noodles were like instant noodles. the food we ordered was soup base with noodles, vegetables and it said there will be pork and ham on their menu. when it came, it only had spam. when i asked the server and showed her the soup, and wondered where the pork was. she just went in to the kitchen, then called and informed the cook about it. when the cook came out, he told me what else am I looking for, stared at me and rudely told me that the ham (which is a cheap spam) is both the pork and the ham and that I shouldn't be complaining about it. then he just turned and went back into the kitchen. they gave me the worst experience so far.
Went with foodie friends from recommendation by a Korean friend for lunch. They have lunch specials to choose from. All of them come with BBQ Beef. We selected tofu pot on a cool and grey day. We all liked our tofu pot very much....The meat was tender and the portion was generous. I packed half for another lunch. Service was good and fast. The only thing I was not crazy about was their kimchi. Wish it was better. Otherwise, great choice.
My parents and I flew in from New York to visit MontrealThere was a gentleman outside the restaurant encouraging people to come in.
