Golden Grove Tavern - SURREY DOWNS

We were a party of 20 people and all of our food was served promptly. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and the staff was both friendly and efficient.

False drink was brought out and a repentance to exchange. waited an hour for the meals and when they arrived brot and huh were dry and speck was burned on burger. chips were boiled.

We had 6 of us to lunch to celebrate the 80th birthday of my wife. we had a nice table, the service was excellent and the food was good, although rump steak, which was not available on the menu. but this is understandable, as the supply is difficult everywhere. it is pleasant to go into a pub where table service is available, and as I said, that was very good a pleasant lunch

There is nothing better than an icy cold Rosè Spritz or a beer with some delicious fresh oysters on a very hot day.
