Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Surprise

The food is consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients at this restaurant.

I love the smoothies at this restaurant! My daughter loves the food there too. However, when we ordered acai bowls, they were all frozen solid. I was confused why they didn't blend the frozen acai to make a smooth bowl that we could eat. We ended up taking them home, but they were basically a block of ice with fruit on top. I was disappointed, especially since we paid $40 for all three with peanut butter added. The menu advertised a peanut butter drizzle, but it was just a clump or spoonful placed in the bowl for an extra $1.50 each. Not worth it! If you're looking for a better acai bowl experience, I recommend going to Nektar down the street. However, I will still continue to enjoy the smoothies at this restaurant.

I waited in the drive-thru for 30 minutes for two smoothies. The girl who took my order over the phone had terrible customer service. She seemed unfamiliar with the menu and when I requested to speak to a manager, she claimed there wasn't one available.

As soon as we walked in 2 hours before closing we get told the don’t serve food 1 hour before they close. She was rude it is 8 and it says they close at 10

Smoothie tastes weird and everything was made sloppily. Cup leaking and honey everywhere.
