Bidra med feedbackGreat food! Hubby and I have been here recently. Hubby got the raw end of the deal with his meal, but my was great! Here's how my experience went: SERVICE I couldn't owe. The waitress was wonderful. She always poured our water, checked if we wanted more drinks and easily accessible when we needed them. Perfectly cooked. I had the oxen and it melted in my mouth. Very recommended. PREIS Unfortunately this was a break. The most important meals are expensive $36 for my and $45 for Nabenby's). The prices are more for a fine restaurant experience than what we met, I'm sorry to say. While my meal was delicious, in my opinion, it did not guarantee the price tag that went with him. It was a nice night and the waitress was nice. They have made the place good, but in a competitive industry they have to do something more to guarantee the prices they charge. Parking is underneath and seating are both inside and outside. It is wheelchair-friendly with disabled parking.
Overall a nice place. I had the meatball appetizer and my associate the rib's. Also had the Rocket Pear salad and would get again except out the dressing on the side. Found it odd this place has no burgers as there steak and meatballs are delicious so why not have a burger option? The steaks can be a bit on the pricier side so bring your budget and your stomach.
Had the Angus sirloin and wagyu striploin with the creme brulee. All fantastic and super tender steaks, definitely worth the higher price. Only reason for a lost star is our waitress seemed to not like my friend, ingnoring my friend and only speaking to me, and giving them attitude. Otherwise was great food :
First timmer, have heard a bit about this place so it was defiantly on my To Do Food List First impression was good. Friendly staff as we entered.. However...the lady that waited on us didnt seen to be interested in making our experience enjoyable. Felt like it was a rush job. The entree of Sashimi wasnt as good as what I had hoped for. For main I had rack of lamb, the duck roasted potatoes where soft and cold and the rocket salad was plain in taste. HOWEVER the rack of lamb was the best I have ever tasted. The desert was also amazing. The big NO No for me was the trip to the toilet. A bit of a walk and it wasnt clean. I understand that toilets have to be shared with others in the area but If I owned a nice restaurant i would make sure the toilets were good. I will go back to taste the steak.
My partner and I dined here on a Sunday night and we were unfortunately greatly disappointed. We had made a booking to dine here purely for the steaks served/cooked on the volcanic hot rocks. When we arrived the restaurant lacked atmosphere and was playing bizarre music. We received service from one lady whom was kind and prompt but unfortunately that is the only positive feedback I have. I ordered the Wagyu striploin served on the volcanic hot rock, with chips and salad. The steak arrived very quickly, without the hot rock, just served on a normal plate. Personally, I do not believe the cut of steak I ordered was the Wagyu, as I have had Wagyu many times before and it didn't taste the same. Also, the chips were just frozen chips and the salad was so so basic. I would liken this meal to a pub meal or a meal you could order at your local RSL to be honest, you would probably get better value ordering there instead. It seems like when it is quiet on a Sunday night, the chef just serves food however they like and doesn't put in the effort. My partner and I were prepared to spend money on drinks and dessert too, but we left after 40 minutes. Very disappointing and I will not be back, I can get a meal for $65 of far better value elsewhere.
