After beach crowd fairly noisy but good food overall. Stuffed shrimp was excellent, crab cakes were ok, drinks were decent. Casual atmosphere.

Wow! Last year you could not get a table. This year empty and absolutely terrible. Never again. Food terrible and service even worse

The menu is pretty extensive wanting to please everyone I guess. But the quality was so so. Tuna poke bowl had a fair amount of wilted green salad which seemed a little weird.

On Saturday my husband was leaving the 12th street beach our jeep got stuck in the sand (even after letting air out of the tires). Surf City police game and they didn’t give up until he got out. Sent a shout out in the LBI Facebook page. I’m hoping you saw it. So sorry we didnt get the names of the officers. So helpful and kind! Thank you!

After months in hiding during the PANDEMIC, it was time to slowly emerge, carefully, from a cocoon. We decided to get up early one day and head over to LBI, a straight and easy shot from my neck of the woods. We randomly found a parking spot and that's how we ended up in Surf City. We trudged out to the beach, and because it was early summer and still early from the releasing of restrictions, we ventured carefully out to the beach. Still only a handful of people out and about (good). The beach was lovely, though the ocean was rough no wonder it is named Surf City. Come early to grab a good spot if the world ever returns to normal again.
