Pelican's Snoballs Diamondhead

The shaved ice is amazing. It's real shaved ice (i.e. ice block is shaved). Be prepared for a long wait though. Lots of people want to the snowballs and it's a slow process making them.

We went there every night for our week long stay in Topsail. They were VERY friendly and nice. We had a group of 14 people and they always we ready to make us ice and it was so amazing everyone loved the flavors!!! They have over 100 flavors including some interesting ones!!! The staff is very polite and nice!! Highly recommend!!

Before heading back home we decided to grab a treat for the road. We frequent Pelicans at home so it was nice to see one here. The one we go to has never disappointed and this one was much of the same. Everything was flavorful and tasty. The owner was very friendly. We all chatted as the cups were prepared. He even came out front, afterwards to ask if all was good and to wish us a safe travels home. We look forward going back there the next time we're in town.
