Authentic Taiwanese food Mom Pop shop Authentic Taiwanese food in the middle of Surabaya. What more could you ask for? Everything on the menu, from the tempura to the beef noodle soup, was absolutely delicious. Portions were large, staff were super friendly and kind, environment was chill and trendy. Be sure to try the ‟Classic Beef Noodle”, a type of Taiwanese noodles with steamed beef. They are very delicious and the beef broth was simmered for more than 10 hours with lots of vegetables, beef tendon and beef ribs. It is full of beef essence and not greasy at all! Each piece of beef is very soft and tender, and the noodles are very good. For a drink to go with it, I recommend the winter melon iced tea. The restaurant is true to its name. It has a very authentic Taiwanese taste. The ingredients are still imported from Taiwan. Therefore, the taste is guaranteed to be 100% authentic! I ordered the Taiwanese Sausage, Pork Chop, kucai suikiaw and some noodles! Crispy Chicken Rice is a must order if you’re eating alone and doesn’t have anyone to share the food with. My go to authentic taiwanese restaurant. The owner is the one that usually will make the food, so the taste never really change over the years. Place is not that fancy but it sure have a cozy vibe. I recommended the kuotieh and baikut rice.
