Bidra med feedbackHad an order of the Kappa Maki $7): cucumber wrapped in pounded rice. Food was delicious, staff was engrossed both in making sushi watching a bit of sports on a very large LCD panel), and an the ambiance was chic.Vegetarian options: Plenty of animal-free optionsWheelchair accessibility: No issues with changes in elevation etc.
Good sushi, a little pricey for the area it's located in.Random crackhead hurled curses at me as I entered the location.
This was the best japanese restaurant I visited. The food is very delicious.
Went here on a date by chance when I Love Teriyaki and Sushi was overcrowded, loud, and the waitress inattentive. So we left and walked the blocked to find Kinja relatively empty, cozy, and quiet. The waitress greeted and sat us immediately. My boyfriend doesn't even like sushi that much but he was sold tonight and got adventurous. By the end he said he might have to change his tune about sushi. Between the two of us we had the deep fried beef stuffed mushrooms (amazing, hot at first but I couldn't wait till they cooled off! , deep fried California roll, los cántaros roll, the kewpie and the black widow roll. It was definitely enough to feed a small army and we were stuffed by the end. And extremely satisfied. Btw Everything had fresh crab!! Not that imitation BS that most sushi restaurants try to pass off on you. We had a great conversation with the waitress and left so full I could happily skip a not so needed (but wanted dessert. We'll definitely be back to this secret little gem.
Best sushi we found across the tunnel. About as good as the good places in Berkeley/SF. Which is pretty damn good for around here.
