Bidra med feedbackSo Pane E Latte. What can I say about this place? Well let's start with some background data shall we? I am an American on holiday. I did not know what to expect from this place and just found it on a regular stroll about the locale. Was I satisfied? Well quite so. I walk right in no knowing what is what and was greeted by a nice young lady. The place was small but quaint. I kind of liked it. It felt very welcoming and friendly. I ordered a simple black coffee and a spinach and cheese pastry type dish. Said order same out to me, note being I sat outside as it was a very nice day, promptly and for which I did not have to wait long. Coffee was a tad on the smaller side but was sufficient. The spinach and cheese pastry was nice. I quite enjoyed the dish but it didn't leave a lasting memory. Coffee, despite the size, was respectable. Definitely not the best I have had but far from the worst. I went back in and had an iced coffee and that too was brought to me outside and was just as nice. Much more than was I expected. I was expecting a simple iced coffee. Case in point an iced coffee that I was accustomed too is the same as a regular coffee just cold. This was much more. It was like a shake with ice cream on top. Will I complain about this break from normality? No I will not. I liked it a good deal. It just threw me for a curveball. What else can I complain about? Well, since it was the first time I was at this location I asked for recommendations and did not get any. Is this a big deal? Well, it is a double edged sword. On one hand it is a sign that everything may be good but on the other hand it may be that the location does not have its own identity. What selection is great here? What will be a good order considering I don't know what is good here? I do not know. I did not get a recommendation. I walked in blind seeking guidance and was left still blind. I don't know if I experienced everything this place had to offer or if I should return wanting more. It may be a minor gripe to you but to me it is rather important. I like knowing what a place has to offer. I like to asking for a recommendation and trying said recommendation to see if it was indeed a correct choice. Pane E Latte was indeed a nice place. Walking in I had a nice experience. I just wish they had the wow factor that I desired. Tell me what is good. Guide me to experience the best that you offer. That little extra step goes a long way in the eyes of the guest. If you make us feel like you want us to experience the best you have to offer we will come back to see the rest. What I experienced was, although nice, not enough to make me go out of my way to return and see more of what can be offered.
I had visited and I thought it would be a great idea to run to this cake business and buy them some cake and cookies to serve my guests with coffee to house big mistake. the cakes were dry and disgusting and had. at least three days in the regal sat. the biscuits were not better and were very dry and does not break down any use after appointments, where on the kekspack. I called the load and the customer service was even worse. she asked me to contact her in an hour to talk to the manager I did and no one answered. if I could give a minus score, I would. don't waste her money and buy her cake or cookies from the business.
Stood and waited and waited and waited for the dame behind the counter to ask what I want. a kerl is that she knows she welcomes herself and she takes his command. I can't tell you how it was because she never took my order. I left after she had made him a coffee, gave him his food, was exchanged money, and she did not even ask what I want. I was invisible this day. a lot of luck with any service, unless you know it.
We often go here after a walk to sit down, with a bite to eat, and a swallow coffee. the atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable and the staff is very welcoming so they feel like at home. the brot is by the way from this world good, and they are well advised to use it for everything brot they get. but this hidden gem does not breed at all. it is very pleased to be just removed from the side of canterbury road, just away from the popular restaurant district ballarat road, as they know that the quality of their food gets it there.
This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. The customer service was horrible and the bread was just average. I thought I was buying a spinach and feta flatbread for $8, but when I got home I realized it was just plain Turkish bread. When I went back to the store to discuss the issue, I had to explain myself and show my credit card transaction from just 10 minutes prior. Another staff member informed me that the bread I bought was actually only worth $6.50, meaning I was overcharged. I was then told that I should have asked before making the purchase, and was made to feel like I was in the wrong.
