LaVerne's Grill - Sunshine Coast D

We visited LaVerne's Grill for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant's very cozy and the staff were very friendly! We were told that LaVerne has the best fish & chips in town and it does! very delicious and the portion was enough for two to share.

I love this place. This is one of those special places where the food is simple, but it's made with love and care. It's incredible! Fish and chips was perfect, everything you want fish and chips to be. And the portions are huge! We also had a perfect poutine and the world's greatest milkshake. If I lived here, I would go to LaVerne's everyday, and I would be a much larger person. If you are anywhere near Garden Bay, go get that milkshake! :)

LaVerne's is a special treat; a tiny diner hidden on the back roads of Garden Bay, open only 9 months a year or so (closed in winter) and it's friendly, quaint, has a great ice cream selection (often including licorice) and hand-floured fish for the fish and chips. The menu is small but can satisfy a vegetarian or gluten-free person.

Lovely staff, good breakfast. My first introduction to Canadian hash browns, very different but lovely. Trinity very helpful. Would recommend.
