Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Sunnyvale

During a previous visit the chicken sandwich was not fresh and cold. So on the next trip I gave this feedback to the manager and she apologized and told me the holding time for fresh chicken and then asked if I would not wait. I really appreciated her answer and my meal was hot, fresh and delicious!

What to do for a quick bite to eat and curious if all the hype about the chicken sandwich is true? Gotta at least try it! Ok, so I think the sandwich is meh. The buns were somewhat soggy because it was wrapped in the sandwich wrapper, which squished it. The chicken itself has too much batter for my taste. Nothing special in the sauce. I have never been that type of person who would stand in long lines for food, or anything for that matter. It would not warrant a second visit, just for the chicken sandwich. I have had better.

I liked this Popeyes for years until recently I got a moldy biscuit. Most of the time the chickens were juicy and seasoned. But this time, after I saw this gross moldy biscuit, I’m really worried about the food safety there and how the owner of this restaurant is running it now. We realized recently that staffs were super impatient and never got the orders correct. They were so annoyed when we asked to correct it last time. Really hope whoever is running this restaurant can make it as good as before.

This particular Popeye's location is very bad, poorly managed and will scam you out of food. In the past 3 delivery orders at least one item has been wrong or missing. 1. Drinks would be the wrong. 2. Order an 8 piece tenders and only receive 6-7. Order a 3 piece chicken dinner meal and receive 2 pieces. Order a chicken sandwich and its missing. 3. And the final straw. A chicken sandwich missing half of its breading and the rest is coming off. If you enjoy eating at Popeye's avoid this location its of lower quality than usual.

This specific location is gross and not safe to eat at. My chicken always comes out soggy with grease and Today I bit into a moldy biscuit. If you ask for a fresh batch of food they will usually ignore the request or just warm up the batch you sent back for being cold.
