Bidra med feedbackWe thought it was really good for a casual place. Not very big or very fussy. The self service was easy to navigate and the wait staff were attentive. Everything that was self service was being cleaned and refilled regularly, the marinated meats were great and all the different sides had strong flavors. We didn’t try too much of the shabu, instead got more bbq options. The pork bellies, bulgogi, and beef tongue were favorites, especially with some kimchi.
I liked khan shabu shabu for the ability to grab your own food.I liked their specialty beef of the day the most, but their beef bologi and other beef options from the ordering menu were good too. Dumplings were also tasty, as well as the corn cheese. Didn't love their kimchi or spicy cucumbers even though I normally like them, I think because they had an old and warm taste?I really recommend getting the Sukiyaki soup base. It was my first time trying it and it was very tasty. Our server did a great job of refilling the soup as needed as well.
I am very disappointed with the food as well as the hygiene. Nothing here can be called food actually..Shabu shabu was really bad, especially the soup was terrible. Side dishes were kind of okay, but the meats were not fresh at all..While eating, servers were kind of panic, because of the bug or cockroach found on the floor… grosss….We paid total $99.99 for two people for dinner, including the tip the price was different from what I saw on the website. It is the most regretful meal we have had in the bay area..
So glad we found this place! We found Khan’s when another local KBBQ place had a 1.5 hour wait. The hot pot option is also quite the bonus! We have since been back at least 4 times and probably won’t be going anywhere else anytime soon!Khan’s is all you can eat and buffet style in which you go get all the items you want yourself. Many appetizer, meat and veggie options to choose from and really good sauces.Staff is welcoming and attentive! This is our new favorite spot and can’t wait to bring friends.
Solid KBBQ spot, what’s neat is that it is self serve buffet style so no having to wait and flag down a waiter to order a next round of food. Usually, I don’t care for pork options at KBBQ but it was surprisingly very delicious here!Food: 4/5
