Bidra med feedback... very political as they climb on the veranda (see picture.) pulled pork was juicy and tender (if I could not make my understanding, owner added a salmonpatty with creamy heaps only for me), swarms were falling from the bone, red neck afteros, butter beans, kohl ... the menu seems to have no end!
Babe's is a little treasure, with a wonderful, welcoming staff, charming old building, and a varied menu that really delivers. The ribs are both delicious and plentiful, and there are a few sauce options to choose from, all good. Excellent sides (we particularly enjoyed the onion rings and broccoli casserole). Good value.
My family and I had lunch here recently and wow, what a great experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful and walked us through the menu options extensively. The food was fabulous from start to finish. I ordered the rib sammich with sweet potato casserole and dang it was delicious. I also ordered the pecan pie and it was yummy. My cousin had the dry rub ribs and he said they were wonderful. I also tasted my cousin's corn pudding and two thumbs up. Definitely a place to come back to time and time again.
We found this little out of the way spot on a girls' weekend trip. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel like friends. The food was delicious and quickly served. We will definitely be back!
