Don 't waste your time with this place. Their hours of operation are sporadic and they give no advance notice of closures. A small group of us drove over an hour today to have lunch there, only to be greeted by a sign on the door stating Sorry, we 're closed. Nothing about the closure on their web site or their Facebook page (which they don 't keep current).

A small group of us drove over an hour to the Silver Dollar Cafe only to be greeted by a sign on the door saying Sorry, we 're closed. They weren 't closed when I called last week to inquire about indoor dining. There was no information concerning this closure on their web site or on their Facebook page (which is NOT kept current). This place is not reliable concerning hours of operation. Don 't waste your time going there.

Very friendly silver dollar burger was excellent! Tried to stop by for lunch the next day but was closed. No explanation.

It was such a special treat to stop here unexpectedly! When I was about 3-4 years old I lived just down the road from here. It was much smaller then but other than it being a little bigger it was exactly like I remember. Brought back so many memories. This place is definitely a landmark. I wish we would've had time to order from the restaurant. The food looked delicious and smelled so good! If I get a chance to go that way again I will be stopping there for sure!
