Malaya Corner - Sunnybank Hills

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, the room was clean, and the service was quick. My college friend took us to this shopping center when we were craving Asian cuisine. Knowing there were two Malaysian options available, we decided to try both. I ordered my go-to dish, char kway teow, while my friends opted for curry laksa and mee goreng. The air conditioning was a welcome relief, especially since there was a tropical storm that evening and everything felt a bit humid. The service was great, and the meals were delicious. I can't wait to go back!

The dining experience was disappointing compared to our previous visits before they closed. There are new owners now, and the quality has changed. The meat in the beef rendang was excessively fatty and oily, and the fried dishes weren't up to the usual standard. We were not satisfied with our meal.
