Roker End Cafe - Sunderland

Okay, it's not exactly Forest Green Rovers, but they do offer a nice vegan breakfast among other options, and they're open every day except Sundays. I was out on my bike and needed a quick energy boost, so I grabbed a vegan sausage sandwich with ketchup. They kindly double-checked to make sure I didn't want any spread, as it wasn't vegan. I have to say, the £3 sandwich was fantastic, served in a wonderfully soft bun. One day, we will definitely return to this little gem!

I called the other day to order a sausage sandwich and wanted to double-check with the staff about the sausages. It turns out they are not vegan, as the cook mentioned they contain meat. It seems this information may have changed since the review below. To be fair, they are advertised as vegetarian.
