Clacey's Coffee House - Sunderland

This place allows dogs in. They have water bowls dog treats. I mean, how cool is that for dog owners? If you are on a long walk down to Roker Seaburn Beach or seafront. This is a great place to shove into your GMaps to call in on the way there or on the way back. Sunderland Seafront is a dog walk away. I had a cup of tea it was the best cup of tea I've had out I a long time properly good quality teabag tasty full flavoured brown tea. So for me this is a huge bonus. Finding a place that does a proper cuppa is difficult. Not any more. This will do very nicely. Food: excellent. I had the hearty big soup with a slice of toast I could have had brown or white bun with it. I have to say it was like my mother used to make, yes as good as that. People around me were eating away and they all looked to be enjoying their food as much as I did mine. Local cafes with local families owning them, and local workers from around the doors working in them, keeps the money flowing locally. But it is a battle I recommend this place to you with ease. Bring your dog and have a moment or two with your wonderful pets. Great isn't it.

First time visiting. Called in after the gym and it has a lovely calm atmosphere. Ordered the soup of the day (lentil) which was delicious. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back! Thank you!

First visit today won't be back just watched her wash the dishes and use the towel that was on the counter she had been using to dry her hands on to then dry the dishes!

We stopped by for coffee after picking up the kids from school and were allowed to bring our dog inside. The staff was incredibly nice, especially with our son, as they explained what types of biscuits they had. The coffee was great. Even though it was close to closing time, it seemed like they had been very busy judging by the cleared off tables.

Went with my friend who is a bit of a coffee snob. She loved the coffee and we enjoyed a scone and cake in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Staff were friendly and professional
