Sun Valley Chocolate Foundry

This ice cream shop is also a candy story that has a wide variety of Harry Potter candies and Idaho favs (like the classic Idaho Spud bar). There are also a selection of hand dipped chocolates and fudge, so a little something for every sweet tooth. The kids had soft serve ice cream (there was a dizzying array of toppings to choose from, but they got rainbow sprinkles) and when I tried a bite, I didn't take another. Their soft serve is just okay, it has a very marshmallowy texture. Overall, should you visit? YES. It has a really fun atmosphere, and the village is magical. I would just look for better ice cream for myself, for the price. We still had fun!

Amazing warn n soft chocolate chip cookies and the hot chocolate was delicious. Wide variety of chocolates to choose from. Recommended.

Hot chocolate described as Ghirardelli, but was watered down and cheap tasting. We've had the Ghirardelli Hot chocolate in San Francisco, didn't taste anything like it
