Rio Chico Mexican - Summerville

I don't know why it has taken so long to make it here but I'm definitely mad that it has! I didn't know what I was missing! The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was great and the staff was perfect. I wanted to try something different so I went with the Choripollo. It was AMAZING, smokey and perfectly grilled! Will definitely go back.

We dined there while visiting friends who lived in the area. We stumbled upon this hidden treasure totally by chance. What a pleasant surprise. The food was hot, tasty and served promptly by our pleasant, attentive server. She was quite aware of their menu and entree ingredients. We would definitely visit again if we're every in the Summerville or Charleston area.

Finally after being closed for 2 years during COVID they have brought the Buffet back! Every Sunday they have a Brunch/Lunch Buffet, we had enjoyed it for years before COVID and it was one of the most missed places to eat for the past two years. The buffet was off the charts, so good. Everyone with us thought it was the best Mexican around the Low Country. We arrived at 1:30 and were seated quickly, our waiter was perfect checking on us about every 10 mins. The food was awesome, Google should have 10 Stars for this quality of Buffet food. We are looking forward to making this our Sunday tradition again now that the buffet is back and better than ever.
