Mike's Place - Summerfield

It's not much to look at and you might be tempted to drive on by but stop in! This is a complete local bar that serves some of the best pizzas ever. Very small inside, a local bar with about 6 tables. The service was great and quick. Orders piled in quickly and were out quickly given only one person cooking. Ordered a 9 sausage pizza and it was loaded. Loaded with sausage and cheese! There's a reason they say the best pizza around. I couldn't even finish it, so the rest went back with me to the hotel for a late night snack. If you can get by the look's outside and muster the courage to go in and order...You wont regret it. If pizza is not your thing they do have normal bar food and drinks that I hear are great as well. The pizza and a beer cost just over $10. I'll be back hopefully soon to enjoy this pizza again. Love the local stuff!! Good food...good mood!

Seems to still have the pizza I crave.. some things have been moved and tidied up since changing hands but I 'm glad the place still does what it has always done for me and that 's hit the spot. Been coming here ever since I got my drivers license in '86 and worth the drive from Belleville.

Absolutely amazing. Extremely busy and the owner/bartender/cook/bus boy/all around nice guy was spot on. Hardly no wait for food and my beer was always full. What a great man. He never stopped working the whole time I was here and still was personable and grateful. The pizzas here are stacked with cheese. That's really the draw for the pie. All around 5 stars. From start to finish.

It's hard to describe Mikes pizza. It's awesome but it's like having the most amazing frozen pizza in the world at a dive bar.

This is a great place just to go and hang out and have a drink with some friends. Small-town bar that serves a really good pizza. Keep in mind that this pizza is not going to be your traditional hand-tossed. They are pre-ordered ingredients and then put in a single pizza oven. They go crazy with the toppings and then they cover all of it with the cheese! After it goes into the oven it comes out of golden brown and delicious! The Pizza is really good but a little non-traditional. It would be like the best frozen pizza anyone has ever had. Great pic service and friendly people make the experience even better.
