Ryuduki Sushi - Sumida-ku

I arrived at my scheduled time, but they claimed they didn't see my reservation and told me to return in an hour. Despite agreeing to wait, they essentially ignored me until I eventually left. I didn't end up dining there and left feeling unwelcome. This was surprising, as I have encountered so much friendliness elsewhere in Japan. I doubt this was a common occurrence.

The food at this restaurant is truly outstanding and the service is attentive. This high-end teppanyaki dining experience is a must-try.

After booking lunch and confirmation. My family and I took a 3000 Yen taxi ride to the restaurant only to find it closed!! Try to contact Open Door, but they just sent back an automated answer. I would never book Ryuduki Trppan if you can't be sure they will be open. Not sure I'm gonna use an open door because of this Fiasco, although I've been a long customer.

The food was very good with good service. It is hard to locate the place at the beginning, but the atmosphere that is created there is something very unique and cool.

Wow. Just a great experience. When you walk in there is a gorgeous fountain, the hostess escorts you to your table or to a place at a large curved bar in front of the grill. There is no English menu, but our chef came to our table and went through the entire menu with us. He was very friendly and helpful. There was an extensive wine menu, but we opted for sake. And then the food simply excellent. Beautifully prepared. Absolutely delicious. A little pricey, but well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
