Bidra med feedbackAsk Shirley. Great fount of bird landing history. Friendly people and many pictures.
Great place with all the history of the area. Free nuts. The beer is cold and Shirley loves businesses a great ride through the landscape when you visit the railway museum.
Take your time to make the trip. What is better than a museum selling cheap cold beer and spinning. Thank you later. Check the operating hours.
Shirley's open again. It's something out of the way, but it's worth it. Shirley's Tavern has a lot of character and the main character is Shirley himself, who tells a lot of fascinating stories about life in this hidden corner of Central California, where she lived about 70 of these 94 years. Many historical memories of the walls, beer is cheap, peanuts are free, and they have pop and chips and water for no one who is not old enough for beer. I visited today, had a $4 bottle of Fat Tire, visited Shirley for a while, and then bought a can of pop for a $1 for the street. She is happy to be open again after having closed for 22 months, and she hopes that her regulars will find their way again. Open Wed Sun, 11:00 a.m.
