Bidra med feedbackMy husband I I were here two weeks ago. Food was good but not worth the . Service was just ok, we asked just to share and appetizer and our salad. She looked at us as if we had just killed a kitten in front of her, rolled eyes and walked away. Once we got app and salad also, yes at same time. We had to ask for plates in order to divide them up. I guess this is a cafeteria so shouldn’t expect exceptional service. Also the manager, idk her name? Had tattoos and short and kinda big boned, I can say that as I too am big boned. Had no idea about wine list it seemed. Asked if they had a sommelier but they didn’t. At these prices u should at least have someone that can help with wine. Nor did she act like she had time to help us decide… atmosphere was awesome, it’s the cafeteria like service and manager/hostess that sealed the deal for us. We would not return or patron any of the other establishments associated with this business. I’d be surprised to see them open another season or less. If n this area I’d go to the Sushi restaurant, Luma, which is just a short walk to next building The response from what must be the short hostess, proves that no constructive criticism is allowed. Just look at her response below with all neg commits. Like I would want to visit one of your other establishments. REALLY? LOL too funny TINA! TOO FUNNY TINA Oh TIna ur so funny! The Karen here seems to go by TINA! LOL TINA This has been a great bit of laugh for our bridge club meeting. We have now replaced “ don’t be a Karen” with “ Don’t be a Tina” Thx for showing your true colors TINA Remember all, don’t be a Tina #DBAT
We ate here tonight upon a local recommendation. The food overall was good but some of the appetizers were very miserly in portion size for the price you pay The main bone I have to pick with this restaurant was our server had an attitude. and is clearly not trained in service for a high end restaurant like this. When asked if we could share two salads for the table she made us feel as if we were asking for the moon. She seemed to lecture us about how they don't allow sharing. In addition she was slow on service for wine/ cocktails and forgot to bring out my salad prior to brining the entrees and didn't even acknowledge her mistake. After we finished she had to be summoned to clear our plates and sloppily stacked the plates and silverware right on the table slinking food and debris all over the table almost as if we were not sitting there any more. This waitress clearly did not have much training and her attitude over all was fairly icy and void of any personality. I am happy to pay for great food and good service and usually do. She got 15% tonight which is more than she deserved. I'm not knocking this place completely the ambiance was nice but when you charge these kind of prices your staff needs to deliver and that's on the restaurant to make sure their staff does their job properly.
Cocktails were good, service was good but the food was way overpriced for what it was. A basic pasta was $45. Penne with a red sauce and burrata with barely any meat. I definitely feel ripped off and would not return. I have been to 5 star restaurants in much bigger cities and gotten more for my money.
Wonderful meal!! Best in the area with fresh ingredients and creative dishes. Loved it!
In the area, this is my favorite, but it’s hit or miss with the dishes. i’ve had great dishes lunch and dinner, i’ve had bad dishes lunch and dinner. But i do still come back because the it’s never a bad experience over all. service is consistent, alittle on the slow/distant side but it fits the ambiance and the style of the restaurant. also seating can be weird at times, sometimes your spread out, sometimes your all cramped into one corner, and all the other tables are empty, it’s odd, but again just some quirks. i do recommend coming for lunch, dinner i would recommend a reservation (free through google). Must try the desserts!
